RALLY RAVE -
THE
CHARACTERS |
 |
The
team of driven women...
This
team is led by Mia, the only daughter of the only winner in Rally
Rave history. Entering into the competition under the disguise
of 'Angie', Mia has mad car skills and feels a sense of
responsibility towards representing her dad this season. Her best
friend Jasmine is happy to have her on the team, which is rounded
out by Jasmine's boyfriend Hank, who has reluctantly joined as
co-driver and an honorary 'Driven Woman'. |
 |
The
team of techno geeks...
The
current points leader and the team to beat in the Rally Rave
universe is the one captained by gear-head and techno-geek
Devon
. Devon not only lives to rally but he is totally into all the
latest gadgets, add-ons and tweaks to help achieve a faster, more
durable, and safer ride. He is an all around great guy and his
close buddies, only slightly less 'gear-heady', are all thrilled
to be a part of Devon's team. |
 |
The
team of homegrown hooligans...
Always
along for a good time is the team of homegrown backyard racers led
by “Wildman” Billy Caruthers. What Billy can’t get with
money and connections (like some of the other competitors), he
improvises through resourcefulness, ingenuity, and a Jedi-like
sixth sense regarding mechanical devices. Easy-going on the
outside, Billy and his team are in the game to win. |
 |
The
Garage
Band Gang...
Team
number four calls themselves The Garage Band Gang and for good
reason – made up of four friends who have known each other since
grade school, the GBGs all live together in the “cave” – a
dilapidated old farmhouse just outside of town, they all play in
the same rock band, and every chance they get they rally. They may
not be the smartest guys around, but they “get ‘er done”. |
 |
The
team of precision pros...
The
fifth team, led by precision driver Mason Fields, is new to this
round of Rally Rave and is therefore something of an
unknown to the other drivers and their teams. Fields is calm,
calculating, and ruthless in his approach to racing. While he
never threatens the other drivers, he does manage to intimidate.
Then too, there is the odd (though unproven) coincidence that
unexplained bad things tend to happen to those who get in his way. |
 |
Zed
and his 'Watchers'...
One
last group – ever-present but non competing, is the Watchers.
Well-dressed, secretive, and almost always guaranteed to turn up
when least expected, the Watchers are Dr Zed’s eyes and ears on
the rally course. It is unclear exactly how many Watchers there
are, but they have resources that allow them to respond to nearly
any situation , no matter how remote, in a matter of minutes. The
most visible of the Watchers is Beaumont – a sort of modern
Oracle of Delphi who drives the combination tow truck/first aid
van and who is equally adept at winching a vehicle out of a ravine
or setting a broken leg.
